What is a Renaissance Faire?
Our Faire is 20 acres of pure fun! 13 stages offer variety entertainment all day long. In addition, we dazzle you with a fully armored joust, the Queen and her glittering Court, amazing arts and crafts, delicious food, fine spirits, music, dance, parades, rides and games. Join us for a day of play! |

When are you open?
We are open Saturdays and Sundays, April 6, through May 19, 2013 from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm. |

How much is admission? What does the admission price include?
Adult Single Day is $25, Child Single Day (Ages 5-12) is $15 and children 4 & younger are free.
Admission price includes all entertainment: the Joust, 4 parades, over 2,000 performers, music, dance, interactive living history exhibits, craft demonstrations and the battle pageant. Select lessons, activities and pageants for children are also included. |

Is there a senior discount?
Guests age 62 and over save $2.50 at the Box Office with ID. (Cannot be combined with other coupons or discounts.) |

Is there a parking fee?
Santa Fe Dam Recreational Area charges a $10.00 entry fee per visit. ($30 for busses)
Santa Fe Dam retains all fees for access.
The Renaissance Pleasure Faire has no control over access pricing.
A Park attendant will collect your access fee.
There is no additional charge for parking on top of what the Dam requires.
General parking is estimated anywhere from 300 to 2500 feet away from
the front gate. Handicapped parking is available, please have your placard displayed so attendants can direct you to a close parking location. |

Do you offer Valet Service?
Yes! For Valet Service, once into the Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area heading
towards the faire, stay in the right lane and turn on your hazards to utilize the Valet Service. The drop off and pick up point will be about 100 feet from the front gate.
A Valet attendant will meet you, give you a claim ticket and park your
car. When you return, after having had a fun and exciting day at the
faire, you will give your claim ticket back to an attendant and your
car will be brought around.
If you wish to use this Valet service to park your vehicle, you will need to pay the $10.00 Park entrance fee and then the $15 Valet Service at the faire.
Limited valet space available but it's available every Saturday and Sunday, for the entire run.
Valet service can only be purchased at the Faire, on day of arrival. |

Is Public Transportation an option?
Foothill Transit Line 492 serves the Santa Fe Dam Recreational Area. The
closest stop to the entrance of the Santa Fe Dam Recreational Area is
at Arrow Highway and Azusa Canyon Rd. It is approximately one mile from
the stop to the park entrance, and the Faire is located one half-mile
inside the park.
Bus
fares for Line 492 are $1.25 for adults, and $0.50 for Seniors and
Disabled citizens. Line 492 departs eastbound from El Monte Station
every 30 minutes on the weekends, with the last westbound bus departing
from the Arrow Highway and Azusa Canyon Rd at 6:58 pm. For more

Is the faire "cash only"?
Our box office happily accepts credit and debit cards to purchase your admission tickets. Our food and drink booths are cash only. Each vendor on site creates their own policy regarding credit cards (although most of them do accept cards nowadays). ATMs are located throughout the site for your convenience. |

May we bring outside food and drink?
No outside food and drink is permitted. |

Do you have Vegetarian, Vegan or Gluten -Free foods available for purchase?
Yes, we offer fresh, healthy alternatives to traditional fare. Our complete menu can be found here. Food booths also feature signs noting which items are vegetarian and gluten free.
Also note - vegetables and starches are fried in different containers than meats. |

May we bring a pet?
Pets are not permitted.
Service/support animals under the ADA are happily welcomed at the park! Please have documentation from a licensed professional (doctor, nurse
practitioner, psychiatrist, other mental-health professional or social
worker) stating that the animal is an essential part of treatment for a
disability. A doctor’s letter must have two essential components.
1. It must state that you have a disability. The disability does not need to be identified.
2.
It must state that it is the professional opinion of the provider that
is it essential for you to have a service/support animal.
Registration tags or vests are not required by the state of California. |

Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is only permitted in designated areas. |

Do you rent costumes?
Yes! Belrose offers costume rentals for all ages and all body sizes.
Child costumes range in price from $8 - $25 (Average price is $15)
Adult costumes range in price from $18 - $65 (Average price is $39)

Do I have to come in costume?
Although many of our guests arrive in costume, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing. However, we feel the experience of the faire is heightened and more fun when you come dressed to play. |

If I wear a costume do I get in for free?
No. |

May I bring my (costume) weapon?
All weapons should be sheathed and peace tied. Our service people at the entrance gate will assist you if you do not know how to peace tie your weapon.
Bows are permitted, but must be unstrung or strung with yarn or any material that cannot hold tension. Arrows must be untipped and secured in the quiver. |

May I bring my bow & arrow?
Yes. You
may bring your bow if it is unstrung, or strung with yarn (or some other
line that cannot hold tension). Arrows must be untipped and cable-tied
together and secured to the quiver. Our security team at the entrance
gate will assist you if you do not know how to peace tie your weapon. |

May I bring my instrument?
No. Due to
an unfortunate number of people who have brought instruments and
attempted to busk in our streets, you may not bring in any instrument
except for a drum for our drum jam. |

Is the Faire wheelchair accessible?
Yes, with the understanding that we are an outdoor event. The Belrose Costume Rental booth just inside the gate has wheelchairs for rent on a first come first serve basis ($25; no reservations). |

Yes, you can ask for a hand stamp from the greeters at the front gate. |
