Bristol Renaissance Faire Reviews
I’ve been to this faire several times before, once a while back (maybe 10 years) and then again last summer. I had very pleasant memories from the first time, and I had really talked it up to my current bf. I wasn’t sure if he would be into it, but he was willing to give it a try, so we bought tickets and went on the last weekend. We had a blast! We walked the entire faire and tried on hats and looked at costumes. There was a glass blowing demonstration that we watched that was really cool and we had a few drinks. He had a turkey leg and was really excited about that and I had a tasty mushroom burger. We sat and people watched while we ate. We had a very good time. He wants to go back again this year and even dress up. We’re excited about the next season! – Paige Z, 5 stars
Our family of four went yesterday and everyone had a great time. It is such a unique place, and all of the actors and vendors were really pleasant and engaging. The shows that we went to were funny and entertaining. The joust is definitely a must-see.
The cost, (IMHO), was comparable to any other amusement park. Yes, you pay for the rides and games, but a lot of stuff (shows, the joust, street performers, etc.) was free and well worth the ticket price.
My husband and I plan to go without the kids so we can really look through the shops. Absolutely amazing artisans there!!! I think this will be a yearly thing for us now. – Leah, 5 stars
