New York Renaissance Faire Reviews

This is the largest faire I’ve been to and I was glad I downloaded the map before I got there. It was amazing inside! You should see it for yourself. – Michael B

So much fun! Go with a group and you won’t regret it. For folks coming by bus from NYC, there is sometimes a bus ticket that includes the cost of the ticket and allows you to get one of the $2 color map brochures for free. HIGHLY recommend one of the map brochures, as it gives you context to the shows and tells you what to expect (makes it easier to plan your day). The vendors are all expensive but super friendly and worth the extra cost. And of course, the costumes are always all-around fantastic. – Steven Natiello

Magical! I love coming here every year. I feel like I stepped back in time. The costumes are amazing. Great food, great shops, and cool shows. I wish I could work here! HUZZAH! – Crystal Martini

One of the best fairs in New York. There are tons of shows of all sorts for kids and adults, fun faire food (turkey legs, meat on sticks, mead), and as much medieval merchandise as you can think of. Everyone is in such a good mood, many people come costumed, and it never feels overcrowded. – Samantha Sigelakis-Minski

One of my favorite places. Stepping through space and time to a world of merriment, exploration, and even education is one of my family’s greatest joys. We love seeing some of our favorite characters, getting to know other regulars, and just enjoying the atmosphere of acceptance where you can create yourself however you’d like. – Michael Evans
